Calle Ocho, Carnaval Miami

Calle Ocho is a massive street festival and parade held every year in Little Havana at the end of Mardi Gras season. This carnaval celebration is the largest Hispanic event in the United States.

Taking over an expansive 15-block stretch of Little Havana, the event treats visitors to live music on 10 stages and regional cuisine from across Latin America. Some of the biggest names in Latin music appear at Calle Ocho, including several artists featured on this website.

Profits from this event benefit the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, which in turn goes to fund community projects, such as children’s sports leagues, summer camps, school supplies and scholarships.
